mad.gif Well Huddersfield have been kept in the game by a combination of 3 people.

The ref, Meli and Potter.

The ref suddenly gives a flurry of penalties as Saints go 12-0 ahead.
Meli having his worst game of the season, why does he save it for the playoffs?
Potter making daft choices, does the man not realise it's knockout football.
He has picked Eastmond who is nowhere at the moment. To do that he has shifted Meli from the Centre,s where he can make mistakes and get away with it to wing where his defensive nowse or lack of it are terribly exposed.

To do this he has moved Soliola, Wilkin, Flannery, Gardner, Puletua.

So to fit in 1 not very fit player from the first half viewing he has moved 5 people.

The man is great at bringing youngster into the side, fantastic at playing consitently well over the season, but seams to have no clue about knockout football.

However we still lead and Huddersfield played aweful 2nd half last week.

Huddersfield have done well when they have got the penalties to get them down the field. The question is will they get down field without them. Ref's tend to drop the penalty count in the 2nd half.

Quote of the day from Stevo, "this is all class, not the best pass to brough, not the best kick by brough"

Ah well 40 mins to go probably good for the neutral.
But for me those 3 or 4 offside penalties on Gidley have turn that half. Not to mention Eastmond penalied for a high shot.
Super League the only place in the world where people still believe that less competitors and a closed market to new competition will improve the quality of the product.

Even the Chinese and the Cubans gave up on these marxist principles years ago.

SL with a reduced number of competitors and a closed market = North Korea.

I'm listening in New York on 5L Sports Xtra and people are texting/e-mailing in where they are listening from. Its amazing. USA, Canada, Thailand, Jamacia, Turkey, etc, as well as locations all over the UK.
Show that there are plenty of fans spread far and wide.

While Brett Hodgson is injured, Wire have signed a wonderful player there. If the oldsters can get through next year in decent shape and a young un or 2 emerges, 2011 could be a great year for them.
Good game this.

Cunningham back on, shows the Saints team what enthusiasm is. Gets the Giants on the back foot, ref starts to even up the penalty count. Long way to go yet.

Foster converts.

Its nice to know that the play the ball is no longer a hot spot for officials

what happened to put your foot on it?

Even as a Wire I am sorry but Westwood is nowhere near as skillful as Super Sam or Ellis.

Wazza's main industrys are service industries, call centres, warehouses and the public sector nowadays. All three are under threat from the Tory cuts.

You dont have to put your foot on it, you have to make a play at it with your foot.

The pressure has told. Think Saints may romp it now. 30-22 with under 20 to go.
