Great try out wide by Lawrence for Hudds! Wellens in no mans land!!

Cries of the refs a W***** call out as the kick goes through from the Wire bound Brett Hodgson, 12-12.

12-6

The crys of forward echo from the terraces every time Hudds get the ball out!

How long gone Wendall?

I keep dipping in and out of the radio commentary but they are saying that after the first 10 Huddersfield have dominated.

Not really its a close one to call, Saints have had the early pressure but Hudds have come back strong.

18-16 to Saints at HT. Could go either way, depends on the first ten mins, I feel if we have a defensive effort then it could be so close to call, either that or Saints may run riot.

Brilliant try by Lawrence.

There's no doubt who are 'the entertainers' in this one, and it isn't Saints.

I'd rather have a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy.

An excellent game. Dominating? Both teams are having spells and both look likely to concede when defending their own try line. Hudds varied kicking game is the best in SL IMO but Saints look really solid up the middle and vulnerable out wide. Hudds need to attack the fringes more. If Saints play the game in Hudds 20 they will win.

 Well Huddersfield have been kept in the game by a combination of 3 people.

The ref, Meli and Potter.

The ref suddenly gives a flurry of penalties as Saints go 12-0 ahead.

Meli having his worst game of the season, why does he save it for the playoffs?

Potter making daft choices, does the man not realise it's knockout football.

He has picked Eastmond who is nowhere at the moment. To do that he has shifted Meli from the Centre,s where he can make mistakes and get away with it to wing where his defensive nowse or lack of it are terribly exposed.

To do this he has moved Soliola, Wilkin, Flannery, Gardner, Puletua.

So to fit in 1 not very fit player from the first half viewing he has moved 5 people.

The man is great at bringing youngster into the side, fantastic at playing consitently well over the season, but seams to have no clue about knockout football.

However we still lead and Huddersfield played aweful 2nd half last week.

Huddersfield have done well when they have got the penalties to get them down the field. The question is will they get down field without them. Ref's tend to drop the penalty count in the 2nd half.

Quote of the day from Stevo, "this is all class, not the best pass to brough, not the best kick by brough"

Ah well 40 mins to go probably good for the neutral.

But for me those 3 or 4 offside penalties on Gidley have turn that half. Not to mention Eastmond penalied for a high shot.

It's all about da bass

While Brett Hodgson is injured, Wire have signed a wonderful player there. If the oldsters can get through next year in decent shape and a young un or 2 emerges, 2011 could be a great year for them.

Good game this.
