Butterworth is too laid back, but he occasionaly shows flashes of what he could be capable of if he put himself about. He needs to speed up his game instead of wandering around the paddock during play. The last attacking fullback at the Mount was the guy that went to Leeds

To be honest this outfit is worse than last seasons lot, though I think many of those were retained. Big mistake! I don't think there is one of them capable of making a break, from what I have seen. Also if they got themselves fit would be a start to improving. You can't play footy and enjoy it if your not fit.

Enjoyed the game. Two bottom teams but a huge difference between them. Although I been critical of some, I thought the FB had a really good game and the guy who got binned put plenty into his game. Looks a good prospect. Let's hope they continue playing attacking footy.

It is a shame what happened with Toronto but even the French teams are not really welcome. The main reason being, they don't really bring support and that less money for signing Aussies, the majority who are over the Hill. They would never think of ploughing money back into the game.

I thought we would struggle this season. I said after watching some games last season, that the Fullback and the Scrumhalf were very weak. Was surprised that they had been retained, two of the most important positions on the field. Obviously there are others but they were really poor.

What other sport would penalize a team gaining promotion, were bye that team had to pay all the visiting teams airfares and hotel accomodation etc?

Problems within RL began with the creation of SL. THe majority of clubs suddenly found themselves missing the visit of top teams( ie(Leeds, Wigan etc) the life blood that kept these clubs solvent. TV money needs to be shared out equally between all the clubs, this would lift the standards of the championship, but i don't expect the revue to touch on this subject.

Unfortunetly not much has been learnt( from the days of Toronto) by those running the game.

Not sure on names but I thought last season we really struggled with the two halves and fullback. Hope they are gone, otherwise I think we will struggle.

What's the average age of players in SL? It must be quite high with all the ex NRL players who are past their best and just slowing the game down. You only have to watch games in both comps to realize that.
