exactly. if he was any better and laying on 3 or 4 tries every game (the ones he leaves missing) do you really really think he'd be at Batley SIB? yes he's inconsistent. yes sometimes he makes the wrong decision. but he's playing at Batley. not state of origin 50 points and people still f#*king moaning.

Saw this coming weeks ago to be honest. Players looking disinterested and idle..... That's why I just can't get any enthusiasm myself to go watch. With all respect to the players we have,I'm quite realistic enough to know we won't and can't sign any decent/above average players within our budget..I accept that with no problem. But all this rhetoric we were fed about other teams "not out enthusing us" at the start of the season seems laughable now. Weak defence and no heart or desire to put it right every week. I didn't go up the Newcastle game yesterday so I'm not in a position to criticise this particular match but people seem quite disgruntled after it. Threequarters have looked weak defensively all season long. Has Wesley Bruines left the club?

1.Arthur Guinness 2.William Magners 3.Robert Theakston and I suspect I may vote for these 3 in no particular order for the rest of the season.... we are a centre and winger who can tackle away from a decent mid table side.....but we won't sign anyone like that so

flynn Stevens Hodgson once again our three quarters looked weak in defence and need to get some tackling practice in. and looks like Bruines is going to be a bit of an enigma.....one week in then Injured....then out....shame because he looks handy.

why on earth did we sign Reynolds who is one of the,reputably,best half backs in the division and play him at fullback? what the hell is going on with this? I was really hoping we'd get rid of Woods after last year and have White at stand off,but no. anyone who watched us last year,even the most happiest of clappers,could see that Greensmith,Burton and Butterworth just aren't good enough (still not sure on Woods to be honest)...and now add Oakes to that list...I was really hoping we'd sign a couple of decent three quarters,maybe a good fullback,but no...do we really think Olpherts will score as many tries with us as he has for other clubs with our back line? get real. other teams in our financial bracket have picked up good players,so its not that I'm wanting us to go down the Fev/Fax route,but we just rake around and seem to end up with the players no-one else wants,or are maybe the cheapest option? probably...maybe i'm wrong,but it seems like that. you get what you pay for. as KTF has said we've gone so backwards in two years, on the field, that it's just so hard to get any enthusiasm to drag myself up to the mount. granted we've had it good and been spoilt for the last 10 years,but come on!! if we don't get a good win next Sunday then we really are f***ed.

when we sign three quarters who can tackle we might stand a chance against these type of teams. we'll lose by 10-16 points I'm afraid.
