  1. Remarkably, you put yourself forward a whole hour before I edited the title indicating it was free to enter...
  2. Oof! No need, entirely free to enter! More editing of my topic required!
  3. Profuse apologies for posting this on the "General RL Forum" but I hope John will allow it as I need the publicity! If we get sufficient numbers, I'll run a FIFA World Cup Football sweep stake on the "Any Other Business" forum. I've posted a thread on there, and I'm hoping that if we can get it up and running, John will pin it for me. I'm offering RL books as prizes to the top four teams. All you have to do is stick your reply on there and we'll see how many we get. Thanks Folks!
  4. Hi Folks, I reckon this will probably be a no goer but I thought I'd put it out there as we've had them in the past. I know football is boring to most of you on here, my good self included, but in a desperate effort to make the 2026 FIFA WC tournament a little more interesting, I thought I'd offer to run a forum sweep stake. The stumbling block will no doubt be getting 48 people putting their TRL pseudonyms forward. Happy to do all the donkey work and I still have a few RL related books from the last time I did this to offer as prizes. All you need do is post "I'm in" as a reply to this and, if there's sufficient numbers, off we go. Thanks for reading....if you managed to get this far, obviously!
  5. London only kicked 14 more than Widnes managed...
  6. It's appalling, now 0-124 with 7 minutes left. The game should not have taken place but I don't know what the answer is.
  7. North Wales Crusaders 0 London 82 after 53 minutes...
  8. Absolutely, pretty ordinary game but when we were in the Wire end of the field and had the chance to put the game to bed, we made stupid errors. We never once set Ese ese up for a charge. Really disappointing!
  9. I presume you’re one of our East Hull brethren so, if you are, you’ve had plenty of experience of that throughout your club’s history.
  10. Not sure if anyone has put this up on here anywhere but I just received this from Ullman of this Parish : “There's something poetic about the only time Minchella being first man in was to collect his loser's medal.”
