Hi Folks, Hoping someone can assist with an issue this not very tech savvy character is having. A local boozer has a "Redtooth" smart quiz on a Sunday night, one of these quizzes that you participate in using your mobile phone, Ipad, Tablet or whatever. You have to download the relevant app on your device and then you can join in, it's all very clever and helps to cut down on the number of people cheating. I joined some friends last night and noticed that the Tablet they were using showed a slightly different display format to mine, although mine was still usable, they obviously had a newer version of the app. So I decided to update the app but my device said I couldn't as it wasn't compatible. So I thought I'd delete the app and install it from scratch again. However, it wouldn't let me download the new version as it still says my device isn't compatible. When I did a bit of googling, it suggested I update everything on my tablet, which I did, but it still says my device isn't compatible for the new app. Is my Samsung Tablet simply too old or can I install new software to upgrade it? Thanks in advance for any advice you lot might be able to offer!

Unfortunately, you make yourself fair game by mentioning Hull FC on a Wire v Hull KR match thread. And it wasn't even a Hull fan who pulled you up for it. In the main, your posting has become a little less blinkered since that thread a while back, when a fair few folk suggested you stop posting on Hull KR threads due to your one eyed input, so credit to you for that. Anyway, I promise not to mention you again on any future Hull KR match threads for the rest of this season. I can't say fairer than that.

I presume this was aimed at Tyrone May? He was charged for a certain offence in Australia a few years back and pleaded guilty. Although the chants probably weren't very pleasant with children present in the ground, if you don't want to have stuff like this aimed at you from opposition fans, then don't do the crime.

How can you say this? They only lost to Hull FC by 6 points.

A Hull girl I was dating a lot of years ago went to study at Bradford Uni and found it very difficult to order a glass of "Coke" in the local pubs there. The bar staff all thought she wanted a sample from the Captain of the USS Enterprise. I was listening to Radio 2, again, a good while back, and they were interviewing BBC local Radio station producers and,on this particular day, they were talking to a lady called Liz Meech. I thought I knew the name and it turned out she was working at Radio Humberside at the time. It was asked of her what a Hull accent sounded like, as she was a Mancunian, and she said that "If you ask someone from Hull what the capital of Japan is they'll say "Terkeyo"..." I was outraged initially but the more I thought about it, the more I realised she was correct!
