Looked like direct contact to me and it was an illegal shoulder charge off the ball.

Lucky bleeder.

ID Cards - do you have one and is it widely accepted everywhere?

23 March 2015 - 10:44 AM

Okay, so my passport's out of date, my driving licence is the old paper one, and I need to renew my driving licence pronto as it's got my old address on it.

Sticking point is I need a valid photo ID to renew my driving licence so it's a bit chicken and egg.

Is there summat obvious I can do that I haven't thought of?

Failing that, can anyone recommend which ID card to apply for that will only take a few days?

Thanks.

The reason for Catalans poor away form?

16 March 2015 - 07:34 PM

My other half was in the Village Hotel, Priory Park, Hessle, just west of Hull on Saturday night. She arrived at around 9pm and stayed in the bar until after midnight with some friends.

She saw guys in t shirts and tracksuit bottoms with the Catalans badge and team name on from when she arrived until just before midnight drinking at the bar. I asked if it could have been fans or officials but she said from their physique it was obvious they were players.

It's difficult to ascertain whether or not they were drinking alcohol but if you've got an extremely demanding SL game the following day, staying up until that time doesn't sound like great preparation to me.

Seeing as they're at the KC on Friday night, I wonder if they're here all week and whether or not Hull FC might be in with a shout of keeping it close if so.

Probably not.

If Hull KR win tomorrow, will they have helped set a new SL record?

14 March 2015 - 07:10 AM

On February 8th, Hull FC sat proudly at the top of the SL ladder, albeit after only one game.

Any result but a win in for Catalans in East Hull tomorrow will see Hull FC rooted to the bottom of SL.

Top to bottom in just 35 days, even more remarkable if you consider one weekend was the WCC weekend, so it would have been 28 days.

A 5 match freefall, has any other team come close to a capitulation like this?

Ok, innocent until proven guilty but why put yourself in such a position?

And how many more chances?
