In Topic: Voluntary tackles

The clearest example I ever saw was Joynt in the GF v Bulls. He took possession with Jimmy Lowes stood next to him, Lowes scrupulously avoided touching him, but Joynt went down. Voluntary tackle, but no penalty. Was it Russell Smith? Can't remember, But the Bulls were on the wrong end of some lousy decisions that day.

Yeah, ref bottled the decision that day.

In Topic: English players down under: Are you watching more NRL because of them?

Yeah I watch more now there are a few English players. I record the Warriors game every week as like seeing how Tomkins goes and then just watch bits of other games if I catch them.

Also by watching the warriors you get Vossy commentating on the home games!

In fact the two RL programmes I definitely watch every week is the Warriors NRL game and then Super League Backchat!!! Love it!!

In Topic: Bulls withdraw points appeal

Positive intent with Ferguson and Gaskell signings tho. We'll also be able to attract good Champ players I reckon as rightly or wrongly we'll be seen as the biggest club in the league and therefore likely to be up there challenging.

I'm quite looking forward to it ........ Sell out at the Mount here we come!!!

very grown up

You missed the tongue in cheek element of that then?

In Topic: Coventry Bears to Kingstone Press Championship 1 in 2015

Northampton Rebels were a disgrace who were never getting off the ground and we wouldn't have the full set if they'd joined as they wanted Coventry Bears banned.

I'd always thought they were a waste of space but had I realised the last bit I'd have given them my full support ;-)
