yes throwing money you don't have at something could end in disaster. I was more thinking of a backer investing that could bring in players that would attract more fans. You put some good ideas forward but they would cost money too. My point is that it's all about money now like most sports. I believe it would cost 30k+ to run a reserve side for starters. The BOD do a great job but they have financial limits. Great ideas alone won't take us to the next level.
my point is to have a yearly plan , to invest in big names with high wages when there are low crowds is a recipe for disaster as there is no gurantee they will draw bigger crowds and interest , improve gradually and have a competitive team doing well in this league with that mix of players and the crowds will slowly rise giving more financial security and eventually more financial clout and when this happens a reserve team should be one of the first developments to consider developing locals in the championship reserve league getting more and more of the community linked and connected to the club
