#3023175 Signings news

They have to have a big lump of budget left after most of their big name players left so it would be no great shock to see a couple of big names in their pack. Will be interesting to see who are the local lads they promised to sign.

they don't seem to be going down the local route.they allegedly want to train 4 times a week but how many travellers will or can commit to that irrespective of money offered. Their last 2 signings are far from inspiring.

2 or 3 amateurs max then some experienced players on top would be ideal IMO. I think our neighbours up the road could regret bringing in too many amateurs at once for this level of RL.

Agreed dave. Bulls have come down because they weren't good enough. So guess what let's reward them with a massive budget. It's a joke.

We respect you to mate your a good side. Your not the only ones who have gone to LSV and competed though. We lost 30 22 with Leigh scoring two try's in the last 4 minutes.
Our Home form had been generally good we've beat fev halifax donny yourselfs and hammered batley at home. Only lost 3 times at home all season.
But hey it's play off anything good happen May the best team win, as long it's Dewsbury :)

fair point. Don't think there will much in it.may the best team on the day win.

Respect that Dews have players back and are at home. Same team for us plus greame mattison with a similar defensive display as last sunday dews 16 town 20. 3rd best defence in the league and all or nothing to play for. If we can go to LSV and compete we can at dews and compete too but I don't under estimate dews. Just my opinion

The deluded ones are now claiming Town have broke the bank to keep Olstrum and Miller...... LOL!!!

yes it's business as usual they are signing our players then when it doesn't happen we have paid silly money to keep them. I would love to see what they are paying ainscough and seymour who have far from set the championship alight

I notice all the conspiracy theories have stopped after they won one and the refs are probably fine now.

Stack would be a miss for any team in this league mate but I've watched Burke from an early age and I just hope tomorrow is the day that he produces what he is capable of and leaves it all on the pitch.

that back line of Carter,Hulme,Murphy,Mossop with Lewis chiming in is as strong and exciting back line you would see in this division. Its all down too Lupton and Forber to supply the ammo and set them free early . I cannot see Jams living with it if they do, and with Callum on the bench to rip the guts out of them up the middle they should be very concerned.

i really like this post wonderofwood. At one point earlier in the season I thought we were doomed and hadn't recruited enough quality for this league but what a turnaround and it's in our own hands and a win tommorow would be massive points wise and for beating them lot.

#2931744 Town vs fev

Posted by town4me on 18 May 2014 - 08:46 PM

Well done Workington that was your best effort for a number of years at Post Office Road; Your team was applauded off by the Featherstone fans; Get behind your team you are going up the table with that attitude; We (FEV ) will have to improve to get anything from Derwent Park;

thanx phil. I wasn't at the game today but given what we heard on the radio and fev fans comments it shows we are moving in the right direction. Best of luck for the season (except at DP)
