IMO I don’t think we have played all that well this season, however today was abysmal, no direction from the half backs, forwards standing still, silly mistakes across the park, tried to take them on up the middle and pushed back all game. We let the lad from Castleford dominate the game and couldn’t hold him. On this evidence not good enough I m afraid. Also this is the standard of refereeing at this level, (Bennett, Sweet) we have to adapt to it, they don’t referee the same way as Super League or Championship and as we seen today lose control very quickly and easily, as a consequence we will lose Scholey and Walker for a few games.

Very clunky performance, but Town doing enough to win comfortably, our line defence is still a concern at times, won’t be as easy next week, and as long as we don’t get Mr Sweet or Mr Bennett as one is poor and the other inconsistent, or are they both poor and inconsistent , we should have too much for Midlands. UTT ️

Any update on our overseas signings ?are they likely to be here in time to play at Hunslet next Sunday?

That has to be the most inconsistent display of refereeing possible, think he was just making it up in the second half, twice the touch judge on the popular side shrugged his shoulders and smiled when Bennett gave two absolute ridiculous decisions.

If this correct, the club need to have a rethink urgently.

Won’t be easy, Rochdale have brought a bit of quality into the squad, and also we have the extremely inconsistent Mr Bennett referring. UTT ️

Excellent win today, Town showed real character to come back from 16-0 down to score 28 unanswered points, all 17 gave 100%, toss up between Henson and Stephenson for POM. We have to cut out silly errors, like not finding touch with penalties. Our inexperienced players are maturing every game. UTT ️
