  1. Incredible effort from the Dons despite travel arrangements changing twice in the last 36 hours, spending most of the day at airports and only getting off the plane a few hours ago. Felt a few decision went against them but I am admittedly not impartial. Their defence the last few weeks has been some of the best I can ever rememeber
  2. I do feel he's the kind of player that, if he found the right club/coach, could do something
  3. He was one of the laziest players we ever had at the Dons and was roundly disliked by pretty much all the supporters. Got a move to Leeds solely because he is big and had trained full time

It is kicking off at 9pm French time, 8pm UK time. The Dons squad only landed recently following the recent strike action. I can't imagine they'll be anything like their best, after all that and in the south of france heat
  5. Someone on the flight with the Dons squad has posted that they have been told kick off at Toulouse will now be 9pm Local time (8pm UK time). Awaiting official confirmation
  6. It's not ideal prep for what is one of the hardest fixtures of the season
  7. Fair enough. I have defo spoken to players who prefer to be going up hill but they could be a major minority. And my team (Doncaster) has always seemed to pefrom better up the hill. Although Pauli Pauli down the slope has proven problematic for them in recent years
  8. I've always insisted the benefit of the hill is at best psychological. When you're going down hill you're essentially having to run backwards (or turn and run up hill) to get back into a defensive line every tackle. Compared to the attacking down hill when you're always going forward, in the the same direction and only taking occasional carries. There are obviously some advantages to attacking downhill such as big players from short range, and it extends your kicking game. But in summary (and I have heard players say this) the advantage isn't all it's made out to be
  9. Was robbed on the others. Bloody refs probably
  10. He's been on Dual Registration at Doncaster, which is arguably semantically different after 2 weeks
  11. About as happy as you can get as a supporter of a losing team today. Donny more than held their own despite the weekly struggle for 17 players. Considering that 18 months ago we were scrapping away in League One, even competing against teams like Bradford is a source of pride. We could have nicked it...we didn't...fine. Love the Championship
  12. Odd game at Doncaster v London. Both teams looked really flat first half, was a bit of a dour affair dominated by mistakes and ill discipline. The turning point in the second half was Donny getting a grip of the game down the middle, amplified by an upturn in performance across the team after a scuffle between the sides
  13. Ross was always well thought of at Doncaster. Worked hard didn't do a lot wrong
  14. I usually do this for Dons supporters so you can have it too. Here is the direct link for parking this Sunday in Car Park 2 https://www.yourparkingspace.co.uk/locations/show/3314552678/book?start=2025-05-04T13%3A00%3A00%2B01%3A00&rental=short&end=2025-05-04T19%3A00%3A00%2B01%3A00
