As I see it, you're not paying for Valkyrie games as part of your season ticket, their games are just a free "bonus" if you buy a season ticket. Similarly, there's no discount on your season ticket if you choose not to watch their games.

Just watched Hendo's post match interview on YouTube: "Ultimately we're judged by what we do on a Sunday". It doesn't feel like the club really has that as the number 1 priority to me. Chuck what you can at the first team and when that's going well, then start to build around that.

Absolutely abysmal that. Worst performance I’ve seen from a York side in years. Everything about it was dreadful. Discipline, effort, skill, brains, energy all woeful and no where near where it should be. Looking at the squad we had out there, we should have won that but to go down 36-0 at one point? Totally unacceptable. Can’t give up my Sunday's to see that, it actually hurts to watch it. WTF is going on?

Taylor has only just turned 21 a couple of weeks ago.

Same match review panel that saw no case to answer for both Hansen & Akauola from Toulouse, yet banned Jordan Thompson for 2 matches for a shove.

It's the defenders responsibility to ensure no head contact, so the fact Severs had a head injury would say to me that Taufua made contact with his head. Should have been off, you see that given as a decision in SL every week. When you see the things our players have been banned for so far this year, it's a bit of a joke that it didn't even warrant a penalty.

Joel Edwards played over 100 NRL games and Santi played a handful of NRL games plus played for Toulouse & Italy. Don’t think the new lad has even been mentioned in a match report from what I can find. Can’t compare him with those two so I’m not getting too excited about the signing. Hope he proves to be a hidden gem though, it’d be nice to find one.

The Knights have now officially announced him as retiring, Hull have also announced him as Director of Rugby. Cheers for the memories Richie, you'll go down alongside players we signed like Jason Demetriou, Morgan Smith & Adam Cuthbertson in the York Hall of Lame.
