Second weekend of the season and the two Perpignan teams are at home anybody know the likely match days? Also is there a way of finding the fixtures by day and KO time on a week by week basis (FFR have previously listed games with refs and officials)

I’ve been to plenty of French games where the quoted gate is exaggerated, I went tonight and I’d say there certainly looked as there was at least 9,000 there. Shades of what might of been. in regards to the game it looked like the Dragons didn’t get out of 2nd gear. Final observation that watching live Tomkins is a class above anything else on the two sides.

Maybe at 24 pages and counting the new design has done its job

I’m aware I’m going to sound a tight wad here but I really don’t think the tickets are priced to encourage multi game attendance. Think I did around 12 or 13 in 2013 with the wife but I suspect it will be around five this time. £55 for anywhere other than an end or a corner for NZ v Lebanon ain’t going to attract many league fans used to league pricing.

Not sure if this has been raised on this debate but I have seen it said that the 4 Championship teams will play all mid 8 group games against SL team at home. This will mean that either the team that finished 9th or 10th (or both) will play one at home and six away whereas the team that finished 4th in the Championship will have 5 or 6 home games and only one or two away. Surely the above is a ridiculous state of affairs and doesn't reward excellence in a tougher league?

Am I right in thinking we are about 7 weeks from the new season and P & R has not been confirmed, nor has a 12 team comp for 2015?

Historically any RL bans applied to RU and vice versa not sure if the agreement is still in place or enforceable.

With the squeeze on Cricket at the moment and large numbers being bet on certain small events within a game is RL open to the syndicates nobling certain players.

Mick Burke - I know he played for GB and won cups but he should have been an all time great in the game if he had got himself fit and stayed fit.

The memories of watching that game have stayed with me since 1981. I was sickend at the time from a sense of injustice and what appeared to be racism in action that went pretty much unchecked.
