  3. Biggest sporting event in the world (probably), the NFL Super Bowl, is the winners of the American Football Conference v the winners of the National Football Conference. Not a country v country. It is what it is.
  4. As an aside, I've often wondered about referees doing this... Just imagine England v Australia. Australia winning by one point, one minute on the clock and the referee, in front of the sticks,20m from the Australian tryline, warns an Australian player that he is offside, he opts out of a tackle and avoids a penalty. Or.......referee keeps quiet. Is he really responsible for 'coaching' players ? Player gets called offside due to his indiscipline, penalty given in front of the sticks, England win by a point. Just a thought....

  11. Whilst watching the documentary, when there was a presentation before the Challenge Cup final, they had all the flags there of the players heritage. I noticed the Welsh flag. It was there again in the Wigan dressing room. Now I believe that Harry Smith is Welsh qualified but I don't think that he has ever expressed a desire to represent Wales. Strange that the flag was present. Unless there is someone else who is Welsh, or Harry has decided to embrace his Welshness. Anyone know?
  12. London Ravens RLFC.......they can keep their black strip.
  13. Just saying....... https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cn0902zgv3do
  14. A Steward tried this on with me, saying we couldn’t take alcohol to our seats. Pointed out that The Sporting Events (control of alcohol Act) only applied to football matches……”OK, fair enough on you go” was the reply. The Act applies to the following sporting events: Association football matches in which one or both of the participating teams represents a club which is for the time being a member (whether a full or associate member) of the Football League, the Football Association Premier League, the Football Conference National Division, the Scottish Football League or Welsh Premier League, or represents a country or territory. Association football matches in competition the Football association Cup (other than in the preliminary or qualifying round). The Act only applies in England and Wales.
