No idea - point is they did and have the ability to sell far more this time. I do know the club has done well to survive following possibly the worst facilitated ground move in the history of sport. Destroying their home - needlessly given Cas and other Yorkie stadiums - moving next to a sewage farm with zero infrastructure was bound to impact. Club has superb leadership, hugely improved community links - and is living within it means and growing, steadily but surely. If bid for stadium accepted it will be a bright new future for RL in GM.

Interestingly the RU accepted semi pro Le Pontet despite being ‘amateur’… much missed club

Brilliant news for the sport up in the NE. They are a stand out club - we should be far far more vocal in getting funding for our clubs. The north is not paved with gold - what our wonderful - utterly wonderful - clubs do for their communities should be adequately recognised and funded funded accordingly. Sport England and the lottery should be knocking on (RL) doors asking 'how can we help' - not giving money to sports that don't need it
