there is a Greggs drive through just up the road from the stadium, maybe that's all she sees! -

Sade is playing at Salford -
Well what a game, Salford dominated all aspects of the game with the only fit 17 we have left. 18th man needed jabs to make the possible players. Salford have 10 on the injury list, Burke looks to be joining them. Some great tries. Grace injury looked bad just went down no one near him. Ref seemed to want Saints to get the 2nd try, he just kept giving them the ball then sin binned Elijah. I don't care though !

Two referees get it wrong..
Red Willow replied to weloveyouwakefield2's topic in The General Rugby League Forum
This isn't a mistake in the heat of the game, such as off sides etc. From reading they failed to know the rules. That is a major flaw for a ref. -
It seems we have had a few of those announced in the last few days, Pitts, Bousquet, Leeming. Whiley on the side lines after Sunday. Everyone have a big enough squad?

As a fan for me it is about whether I can see what changes a coach made and whether long term they will benefit. Short term pain for long term gain. It is hard to see the overall plan but I don't watch Wire every week

Water breaks in hot weather
Red Willow replied to Wakefield Ram's topic in The General Rugby League Forum
There was a random woman on the touchline in the Salford V Cats game.(no idea who she was or from where) She seemed to decide if a water break was necessary in consultation with the doctors. At the water break the Salford players were also given very wet and I presume cold towels. -
Removal of salary cap
Red Willow replied to Bedfordshire Bronco's topic in The General Rugby League Forum
The problem with the Koukash take over was he went about it the wrong way. He didn't put the club structures in place, threw a hissy fit and did away with the Academy. He gave us Noble followed by Harris. Enough to turn any fan off. He bought a lot of players but not a team If we scrap the cap, teams like Salford will be asset stripped because the richer clubs will be able to have bigger squads and the likes of Hastings, Croft, Tui would never sign up to join a smaller club. Salford have enough problems trying to keep players. Saints could have made Grace one of their top earners but didn't think he was worth it. The argument could be made that the cap needs to be raised in line with inflation or living wage changes. -
Warrington often have a blip against Salford, don't know if it is a lack of respect or Salford just get under the skin. Most fans accept a dip in results if they can appreciate what the coach is aiming to do. Sometimes it is necessary if the culture of the club needs to be addressed. Powell seems to think that is the case and he offloaded players he thinks are unwilling to adapt. As for Salford, it's great to see the fight in the side, to come back from the position they were in is fantastic. Maybe Warrington were in a false position as they scored the bulk of points when Salford were reduced in numbers.

BBC News! Yesterday their headline was Duke and Duchess of Cornwall pay tribute to Dame Deborah James. No No NO. It should all be about Dame Deborah not someone else bandwagon jumping.

Salford to move to Moor Lane?
Red Willow replied to The Daddy's topic in The General Rugby League Forum
It isn't a bad location, the supporters had coaches laid on from areas around the City. People can get to the Trafford Centre so getting to the ground isn't hard. Reality is people moan and find excuses not to attend. Many fans don't live in Weaste any more. The club is working with a lot of the local schools and the kids are having fun. The naming rights are due to be available again soon (possibly next year) What ever will be will be. Love to see some real investment especially if the current board continue to run the club in the same way. -

And the Salford Drama continues. There always seems to be something every season. I wonder about the timing of making this public, wouldn't you want to do the deal prior to announcing interest. -
That incident/s hasn't yet been investigated, the fines related to other games and I commented on those fined. Agree it needs sorting

So what is happening at Cas seeing all the incidents seem to involve their fans? Hope they don't look at removing the standing fan areas.
