  1. Looking forward to this off nice and early from Kent with the wife our 13 year old and doggie:) to Hull. Up down like a yo yo was at Warrington last night what a cracking game with the world cup aiming to hit 60 + matches this year:)) Going to Cornwall next month can't wait. Paul
  2. Don't worry IMG are being set up to do the Hatchett job LOL:) Paul
  3. The salary cap should be simply abolished many players are on ridiculously low wages already. Paul
  4. If you watched the sky news Wigan interview between Kay Burley and Kris Radlinski this morning he actually quoted I think 8500. Sadly the CC really does need a reboot I hope I am wrong but cannot see more than 30000 tops. P
  5. Bernard is the figurehead for the local Catalan business community,if Bernard dropped dead tomorrow (God forbid no) the club would just carry on. The Dragons are in an incredibly strong position sponsorship wise. Bernard has the trust of the local business community etc to run the club. Paul
  6. The club also raised quite a bit of money as well with the t shirts (We bought 6:) and raffle. Totally brilliant and a great day. Well done the Dragons, Bernard was on good form as well after the match we were still at the bar around midnight:) Paul
  7. Waiting for my train in Calais so catching up on the forum now:) The heat will play a big part if Toulouse can win 6 maybe 7 i think they will stay up. The Broncos winning 10 and going down 3 seasons ago still sticks in my head as totally unlucky, this season though i think 6/7 wins for any of the current bottom placed clubs will do it BTW Gigot had a stinker on Sunday and they still managed a win:) Paul
  8. Kent Non League football crowds have gone though the roof this season recently, here are recent crowd figures for Steps 5/6/7 (Way above these teams Kent has the likes of Bromley/Folkestone/Tonbridge/Margate/Welling United/Maidstone United/Ebbsfleet (Gravesend and Northfleet) and a whole host of Step 5/Step 6/Step 7 clubs Whitstable/Faversham/Ramsgate/Sittingbourne etc Herne Bay v Ashford Town 1200 Step 5 (Average pre pandemic 450) Chatham Town v Sheppey United 1800 Step 6 (Average pre pandemic 500) Sheppey United Home match 1400 Step 6 (Average pre pandemic 250) Ashford Town Home match Step 5 1400 (Average pre pandemic 400) Larkfield v New Hythe Step 7 500 (Average pre pandemic 40) Tunbridge Wells v Rusthall Step 6 800 (Average pre pandemic 300) Beckenham Town v Camberley Town Step 6 800 (Average pre pandemic 200) Paul
  9. ALL GOOD STUFF sadly I have to go back to England on Sunday, however will be at the Dragons on Saturday and Toulouse on Sunday. Then Warrington Thursday and Hull KR Saturday what a 8 days:) Paul
  10. With the final being back in Narbonne (I remember the good old days of 12/13000 there if Limoux make it hope to see at least 10000. It helps that all the juniors matches are on as well. Paul
  11. Morning, You are spot on there (I posted a couple of videos on the radio station twitter account) feeling it in the legs today so have gone to the beach to swim it off. BTW Luc just what's app me all good for the welsh national anthem. Can you PM me. Cheers Paul
  12. Thinking of ditching the beach and driving up to Limoux tomorrow, i will see how i feel in the morning just back from an all day mountain hike and the old body is a bit sore LOL:) Paul
  13. Totally agree plenty of money pretty much everywhere right now, only 3 clubs currently appeal to those that have money. Leeds/Dragons/Toulouse P
  14. Really enjoyed the match. Wish JS was 15 years younger,he is pure class what a total footballer, i could watch him over and over again Paul
  15. Sadly the CC in its present form is well past its sell by date and needs a total re-vamp. Hull KR selling the most tickets doesn't surprise me at all. I really cannot see the final at Tottenham hitting 30000 and Wembley is now well passed its sell by date. The novelty of the same venue every year for club finals has gone even the SL final is struggling and personally i think needs a 2 week window for the final with a change of venue every year maybe a 5 year cycle between WembleyCardiff/Edinburgh/Dublin/France would work Paul
  16. All for closing the BBC radio stations completely down total drain on the taxpayer. Only decent radio comes from a boat LOL:) www.atlantisradio.uk
  17. IMHO for what its worth i think that Danny Ward should be brought back in as an employee of the RFL with a combination of Broncos and development work. Paul
  18. Great stuff Gordon will check the FFR13 website now to see which matches i can make:) Paul
  19. I still go to some of my favourite restaurants now and again and as for museums etc nothing beats it, funny thing is it takes me roughly the same time to get back to the station in Kent from the west end as it did on the tube to Chiswick:) Paul
