Reported in Bradford T&A this morning Leon is on the verge of re-signing for Bulls, only problem could be neck injury. Would love to have the guy back at Bradford :rolleyes:

PS - How is the Bulls' re-signing of Fielden going. You told us he was at Odsal inking the contract the other week and then you went suspiciously quiet on the matter...!

Probably cos u also said we'd signed Willie Mason, Stuart Fielden & Harrison Hansen which were all nonsense!!! probably more as well but they're the only 3 i can remember at present!!!

Throw enough names in2 the hat & ur bound to fluke 1 of em!!!

I remember reading on here oh two years ago that Pryce was on his way back to Bradford and Lockyer would replace him at Saints. Hasn't happened yet.

Wouldn't be overly gutted, especially if it meant a top class outside back coming in.

Would be a big miss though, he's been magnificent in 2010 and we would be gambling on two of three players not known for their fitness keeping fit (Lomax/Wheeler/Eastmond).

We do have a lot of young talent in the halves in those three, plus Gaskell. The worry would be if Eastmond leaves at the end of next year, we'd have little continuity in a key area.

I think the fact that Connor Murphy has reported the possibility increases the likelihood to be honest, though it obviously, until announced, remains just another rumour. I'm more persuaded by Connor's name being attached to it than by any other reporter to be honest, though, let's be accurate, he's not mentioned any 'done deal', so caution remains.

I'm surprised that he thinks Saints might release him from the final year of his contract, I would have expected them to get what they could, even if they do wish to develop the talent coming through. Though, no doubt Leon would have a heavier drain on the wages bill and cap than the youngsters, so maybe there is some self interest in there, particularly if there is a possibility that one of the kids would be off without more first team action. There's still little doubt in my mind that the Bulls won't be looking to pay a substantial fee.

Interesting times!!
