Pie tries Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 Someone please tell me how mega loss making bank RBS can afford to sponsor the six nations ? Its owned and funded by us !
Pie tries Posted February 26, 2015 Author Posted February 26, 2015 Apologies wrong forum - however I'm still verry annoyed !
Griff9of13 Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 More worryingly how can it be still paying out performance related bonuses of millions of pounds when it is performing so badly? "it is a well known fact that those people who most want to rule people are, ipso facto, those least suited to do it."
JohnM Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 Typical of a state-owned business!!! Bernard Manning lives! Welcome to be New RFL, the sport's answer to the Wheeltappers and Shunters Social Club.
getdownmonkeyman Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 More worryingly how can it be still paying out performance related bonuses of millions of pounds when it is performing so badly? Contractually obliged, allegedly.
Bearman Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 I was fuming yesterday when this was announced. It seems that it has cost each one of us £1500. I have never had any dealings with RBS so why should I pay out to save a private company? The CEO has kindly offered to forego his million pound allowance and he will just rub along on his 2.5 million a year salary!. His fellow directors will take their allowance ( no more bonus' it's called allowance now) and their salaries which they deserve because they are such exceptional people that without them the company would be a failure! So that company failed, I bought it fo £1500 (and counting). Can I please cut my losses. I would rather have invested my £1500 in my local shop or pub that also failed. tomdooley Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 You lot know nothing the ceo is the BOSS and he advises the board how much pay to give him and so they do. A good arrangement if you can get it.
