In defence of these guys, whilst they may not produce high brow content, they are in the most part self made thus talentless is not something I think is applicable.  They, on the whole, do the full Dennis Waterman... sing the theme tune, edit it, do the video, edit it, promote it, up sell the merch, etc.

(at least until they gain a big enough following to start employing people)

With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!

We are middle-aged on here.  We do not get it.

IT does take serious production and being able to deliver what people want.  You can get lucky once or twice, but to keep managing it for years takes talent.

Jake Paul probably won the first 2 rounds, its better than expected tbh.

With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!

Oh the commentary is awful.  But for 2 first timers its not bad.  I've seen a lot worse!

Deji is gassed.  Paul was meant to win easily (bigger, taller, fitter, etc)

650,000 people streaming at $10 a pop, tickets for the arena were £40+ to £150 I think.

Not a bad pay day.

How do you know the streaming numbers? I suspect they'd be disappointed with that (whilst making a lot of money).

I get the feeling this could become a regular occurrence. A strange YouTube boxing world running parallel to the real one. The fights are amateur, the crowd and set up is very different but it is still boxing. An it will probably make them more money than the vast majority of boxers.

Saw on twitter, More people watching on free streams (like me!) than on official.  The last fights had over 1 million streaming but that was free.

The stream I have is better quality than any other attempt I've ever had. They're usually sufficiently bad that if the fight is half decent I just get it on PPV.

Looking like close to 900,000 now.  I think that might make a few people sit up, why let ESPN or sky sports take a cut when you can cut out the middle man?

I thought the last lot of fights was a record live stream, but i think it was way behind a few others .

(royal wedding, Baumgartner's jump from space, etc)

There'll be a lot of talk about how this is a fix but I think a draw is a fair result.

Logan won the first two rounds so decisively that the bookies had him at 7-1 ON to win at that point. KSI came back and edged rounds 3 and 4 before Logan probably edged the fifth round. KSI completely bossed the last round and threatened to take him out but that's 3 rounds a piece by my books. Had it gone any further Logan Paul would've definitely lost.

Not sure who would win the rematch.
