Saints have just signed N R L back rower Joel Thompson for 2021 , apparently a direct replacement for the retiring zeb taia   Doe's this signal another season on the sidelines for Joe ? .

Probably go to Leigh on loan, wouldnt mind him back at the Knights on a season long loan.

They now say there will be many change's in the pack's personnel next season , now he lives in Lancashire could see him moving to somewhere like Widnes where regular 1st team football would be a strong possibility .

We’ve never replaced Batchelor’s running threat in the forwards. Just like we’ve never replaced Horne and Cockayne’s ‘conjuring some magic from seemingly nothing’ moments. Maybe Sunday will see an off-load to a supporting player from Cutherbertson at last? Maybe we won’t play ‘5-drives and a kick to the corner’? Maybe a back might get a ball in a bit of space rather than having to play as a surrogate forward, but on the Bull’s under 7’s-sized pitch that’s going to be a challenge....

Last week cuthbertson was very well policed , hopefully stock and clarkson can then put second rowers or centres through the gaps that are are created with other backs in support , it really is that simple.

Just signed for another 2 years at saints , just shows what can be achieved with a bit of talent and a lot of hard work , great job by fordy and Kristian Woolf.
