Super Bowl at the Pub Manchester Area

Recommended Posts

I need some help finding a spot to watch the Super Bowl in the Manchester area. I will be there all weekend for the SL opening week.

First question: do English pubs usually stay open later than usual for Super Bowl showing?

Then could you recommend a location, preferably near the airport?

Thanks in advance and maybe see you there.

Black Dog Ballroom has done Super Bowl parties in the past.

It’s a New York style bar in the centre of Manchester (near the Northern Quarter and there’s another near Oxford Rd) - which specialises in Americana.  Perhaps drop them an email.

It’s nowhere near Manchester Airport though which is closer to south Manchester residential areas that are very unlikely to be showing it.

Don’t forget it’s live on BBC1 as well as paywall which means even you should be able to get it in pretty much every hotel room providing you have a TV.

or try messaging this place by far the best  burgers in Manchester and have done super bowl nights in the past with a good local crowd https://cowtowngrill.com

A Canadian restaurant serving poutine, as a Belgian-Canadian this caught my attention. Ideal place to celebrate the first game (win) of a Canadian club in the Super League.

Thanks.

Come over to Bradford ... Al's Juke Bar.

NB: There is no "Al"; the owners called Steve. His predecessor pub was Al's Dime Bar. There was no Al there, either.

Afterwards, you can always sleep on the street, dozens do evey night! Helps if you've got a dog on a string.

The poutine is something else (chips and gravy +11  for any one that hasn’t tried it) who would. You like to see the super bowl?

Well without the Packers I don't think I will have enough interest and energy to watch the game, specially after the doubleheader in Leeds, the return to Manchester, my plane at 7am. I will probably fall asleep in front of the tv at the hotel.

But thanks all for the suggestions.
