I must admit, Shed 7 and James were a bit "retro"...

Wash your mouth out young man… James are quality and modern! 😉

In Karl Fitzpatrick and Kris Radlinski you probably get what you pay for.

I went to school as Karl Fitzpatrick; clearly a late developer off the rugby field!

Cant go wrong with a good sixties artist we had the ZOMBIES and STEVE ELLIS (Love Affair) booked for one of our radio stations summer bashes last year before covid got it cancelled (Neil Diamond maybe a little too expensive and mainly seventies anyway)

I don't think there are any restrictions. Other sports are doing things, and things are back to normal at other major events.

I was referring more to the stuff on the pitch, in terms of dancers, flag wavers, mascots etc? I have you right for everything else.

In order of popularity I’d say the charlatans are miles ahead of James or shed 7, with shed 7 slightly ahead of James.

In your house maybe, not outside it.

Just the other day James were headline with Shed 7 one of the supporting acts. Charlatans played in a similar support role in 2019 there.

I know it's all subjective, but the organisers know what they are doing, and Shed 7 and Charlatans would be nowhere near headlining this festival.

I know we are off topic somewhat, but it is loosely linked to the GF 😁

Edit: I always do a quick Spotify check:

James - 2.4m monthly listeners

Charlatans - 0.5m monthly listeners

Shed 7 - 0.3m monthly listeners

That list correlates with Wikipedia

James: 20.8k page views per month

Charlatans: 7.5k page views per month

Shed 7: 4.2k page views per month

Prior to looking at any data I’d have had James ahead by a street, primarily as they have the best known songs by some distance.
