Championship League Leaders Shield

I notice that Toulouse won the championship league leaders shield, when was this first awarded to championship clubs? personally i've not heard of it before in championship, only in super league

League one has had one for years, York City Knights won it in 2018.

Well at least from the early 2010's when Featherstone won it several years in a row.

Its been going donkey's years in 2009 legue became known as championship after being national league one  Barrow claimed the 2009 Co-Op Championship league leaders trophy that year

Why didn’t they ever go into SL then (putting my tin hat on and taking cover)?

is there a list anywhere for all championship league leaders shield winners? is there one for league 1 also?
