Whippet13
First we had Salford linking up with Ghana: https://www.salfordreddevils.net/salford-red-devils-establish-long-term-partnership-with-rugby-league-federation-ghana/ Now Wigan with Ireland: https://wiganwarriors.com/blog/2022/01/14/warriors-link-with-ireland-rl/ Great to see this type of thing, anyone know of any other RL clubs who are actively supporting a developing nation? NW10LDN
Good to see. RLI need to update their website though. Would be nice to see how many clubs there are and which ones offer junior rugby. I know the Belfast Eagles do. It's good to see Wigan promoting their brand as well.
Sir Kevin Sinfield
While they lost both Ireland’s Galway Tribesmen and Scotland’s Edinburgh Eagles Challenge Cup games had very respectable scorelines against established heartland amateur clubs. They are clearly a reasonable standard.

I think various championship clubs assist with the Ukrainian league, as odd as that sounds I’m sure I read about it a while back, and their clubs mainly have the same suffix as championship clubs too. 1

This would be Galway's first game against an established amateur club though.
