This is becoming one of those classic RL forum threads which eternally rolls on with all the ambiguities and nuance of speech missing as it is presented in the written word and within each opposing post, there is an element that is misunderstood, contentious or silly. The energy that drives it on.

If these conversations were us all sat around a round of good coffees or a recently opened bottle of fine wine, by now we would probably laughing our heads off, talking about freezing at the Watersheddings or the like. Us two probably would  have jumped to nattering on Franz Kafka and his unintentional impact on  1980's indie music.

I don't think SRD are victimised particularly. Many Reds think they are. The Wood era was particularly keen to find fault for some. Kendall has a record of #### ups with Saints and others, as has most of the refs. Its just that unluckily for SRD it happens on the times when it matters, not say Toulouse away in March.

It's frustrating to support a  ###### side that on the few opportunities you get, the ref is even crappier and the opposition appears to sleigh us away.

I think our refs are decent, hardworking and dedicated people. But for whatever the reason is, they too regularly fail the basics. Its a really hard job, but that isn't a reason to give up. All the reason to support and constructively describe, praise and criticize them.

Same with most of the players. With increasing professionalism and the greater knowledge of head injuries, I hope the Game remains physical, but not dirty.

Lets all move on, Agree to disagree and that its dkw's round.

Enjoy the week. All the best on Saturday.

Remember Manchester/ Salford loves the Grand Final.

We particularly love the investment so feel free to spend often and expansively when you visit Shock City.
