I've no issue with either York, nor the bash concept, but it should be at a venue neutral to all the clubs. 

Given we (Thunder) played York at Summer Bash last year it looks like us that will get them again next year. Hopefully we don't get them in The Challenge Cup again as four times was a bit much.

I agree when there's promotion and relegation it does skew the fixtures.

The general consensus after Headingley this year by Championship fans was play it at Blackpool 

Or don't bother 

Glad I'll be missing it this year , although I'd have considered Blackpool as a neutral ( even though I detest the place normally )
