Should do Club call at fixture list compilation....highest ranked img outside SL chose the sides for their 14 home games, and so on down the ranking until the fixture list is complete.

I believe NRL still have an element of club call compiling the draw....

Where has 14 suddenly come from ?  When are these extra two games going to be fitted in ?

Bash would have to be binned off so it'd be one extra game....but sure if you don't want an extra game role with 12 then, no worries. The main point is solve fixture headaches with club call, the NRL get to bid for who they want to face at home.

Club Call fixture list....

solves all the headaches and if its good enough for the NRL it's good enough for RFL 👍

They don't need to fit in extra weeks for Cup ties.

They start after us and finish before us.  Our season is too long.

Whatever number of even numbered rounds the majority of participating Clubs want. Half home and half away or whatever floats their boats.

So six home, six away?   Well, I did say the season was too long, I suppose.

I'd bin off Cup to be fair, unfortunately no one is bothered about them, if there's no straight knock out cups in the NRL and no straight knock out cups in the NFL there's no point in participating in low popularity cups for teams in an expanded Championship, especially the CC as they have no chance whatsoever of lifting it.

Cat B and C Clubs really need to set up a Company registered at companies house in the same manner that SLE have done. If its not allowed even with a Governing Body share as per SLE then clearly that's a restraint of trade. This Company could look after RFL member Clubs who are not affiliated with the SLE legal personality.

Interesting suggestion that may be worth developing.

Yeah, they can all chuck a share of their central funding in to cover admin and running costs......

And to staff and actually have it doing something productive?

The mere act is a statement of intent, the Championship Company could eventually chuck 1% of revenue across to the governing body for distribution to SLE Clubs in solidarity.

It can produce and sell programs centrally initially, anything really, fans will start buying these programmes when it's marketed as a big help for all clubs alike, and vital. 11 seperate home additions weekly with several pages localised a bit like bbc radio regional news.....then move on into different projects. The potential is already there. The RFL don't have the resources to do much outside of SL that's apparent, hence why masses of people think they are useless and clueless.

There comes a point where if the RFL can't help you've gotta help yourselves, in collaboration would be the best way.
