Decent result in the end. It was an odd looking squad which apparently can be explained by a bug in camp. However 40 4 against what looks to be a very competitive Midlands team is pretty good. Sure both clubs will take positives from it.

We were pleased with the way we kept you out in the first half and were disappointed to concede just before the break. Second half you took control and the quality in your squad made it too difficult for us to keep you from scoring. Shame we couldn't get over the line when we had all those set restarts.

Looks like you will do well in the Championship but we're also confident of making progress towards the playoffs in League 1 this season.

I notice from the highlights that Midlands still aren't in the stadium.

I thought it was all sorted now and they would be in there this time. Is there a further hold up?

Council still hasn't finished work on the main stadium pitch. Very frustrating.

Bit like Sheffield  Council. Delay after delay. Excuse after excuse.

I thought we'd learned that you don't build the stadium and then start on the pitch. You start both at the same time.

Donny Council have always been very supportive. Hally has always had a good relationship with the Mayor and Chief executive. Worth his weight in gold that man

In fairness, the actual building work was done by the Scarborough Group.  The Council's delays were in other areas.
