mmmm?

HDR?

If so a little over cooked, if not may be a little over-sharpened ( on my monitor at least )

No hdr, just processing in raw. Did have to pull the highlights back a fair bit due to the range between dark and light overwhelming the camera. Its all trial and error for me, as I'm trying to teach myself.

If you pull things back too much then you can start to get into an HDR effect, a piece of advice I read was great, once you make an adjustment and you think its right, put it back a bit as that is probably what is right.

Good photo regardless.

Good advice, thanks. I'm happy with the framing of the shot, it's a different angle on a popular landmark and one to try again next time I'm down there with the tripod.

Most places I want to visit are in the uk. Just wish you could guarantee the weather!

Dry with thin cloud, that's what you need.

I hate it when I am out with the camera on very bright sunny day and people say "good day for photographs", it 8l00dy well isn't, its one of the worst days for photographs.

These nice evenings do make for some nice light for photography. :) All taken with about 7 or 8 miles of home too. :D

It looks like Pendle, but wrong place, unless gaza has been a travelling.

I only went about 10 miles down the road!

A first attempt at motorsport yesterday. A good opportunity to experiment with settings and what worked and what didn't, I learned loads having the entire day to wonder around the course, try different vantages points and enjoy mixing my love of bikes & photography!

Yes, well done. Hebden is pretty close to the border of the dark side. ;)
