Love the cropped portrait shot and like this one to.

If it were me I'd have been tempted to get my feet wet and see what it looked like without those rocks at the front, the breaks in the water for me make wonder lines pulling your eye in. although fans of foreground interest will probably tell you otherwise!

Very nice, but can you squeeze some detail out of that sky?

As for the foreground, I'd be tempted to lose most of the beach at the bottom but not all, unlike Shrek I'd keep the rocks in. But that's taste, play with different crops and see which is your preferred option.

Yeah, I think you need some detail from the sky. It's half the frame and seems to suck the detail out of the waves. Play with your levels and see if you can get some more contrast.

I also like the rocks in the foreground.

i can't get the photo up either shame 'cos it's a cracker.
done it not sure how though, try this i clicked on the share button and copied the bb code thingy and then pasted it in here.

Gazza above your photos in Flickr is a share button, press that and there is a grab HTML/bb code button. Make sure BBcode is ticked and the size you want in the drop down menu, then just copy the code and post into the text BO in the same way you would write something.

job done!
