One I took yesterday. I’m quite pleased with the composition. I’ve gone for the postcard/table mat look.

Nice processing really does have that 50s/60s postcard feel

Or a nicely detailed jigsaw. I'm sure I had a couple of puzzles like that when I was a kid.

I know you're a fan of processing from your previous posts, and this gave me the confidence to post this one. Cheers.

I think this is also from the other day when Northern Eel took his superb photo.

Went to Harlow Carr this morning and this very obliging fella came up real close, suspect people have been feeding him.

I recently purchased an Instax link wide printer that is a very small portable smartphone printer.

Got it for £94 instead of £140.

The film works out around 80p a print and is like a version of old Polaroid except much higher quality image and wide angle too.

You basically download an app on your smartphone (check compatibility) and you are away being able to create physical photos of your favourite smartphone snaps.

It has various image enhancement tools, the ability to create collages, templates, add text or emojis and even pop QR codes linked to a website with recorded sound.

Undoubtedly it’s aimed at a younger person than myself and would be ideal for quick snaps at a party with friends.

My own motivation was mainly to provide physical photos albums quickly for older relatives who miss out on seeing photos due to their inability to manage modern tech easily.

The alternatives would be a specialist printer through a laptop with more powerful imaging tools - that’s a direction I might still go in for the better images I want expand.

Or getting a printers to produce an A4 photo book which I have also done in the past for my elderly father.
