Keith T
On the subject of peter lupton. I believe he has suffered a huge facial injury playing over there and requires extensive surgery. Wish him well. Yes, get well soon Peter and all the best. I remember when ............................."It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimension, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave Hadfield - Independent 25th August 1996. Terry Mac
Ryan verlinden The 27-year-old joins Town on a two-year deal after being released by Featherstone Rovers earlier this month. He made 14 appearances in the Championship in 2015, scoring two tries. Verlinden made his Rovers debut in May against Catalans Dragons after joining from New South Wales Cup side Newtown Jets and was later loaned to Doncaster Rovers. “He’s a big unit and he’s got some ability about him,” Town head coach Phil Veivers said. “He played in the Championship this year and he knows what he’s coming in to. “Now he just needs to get some more game time under his belt."
