#3082124 Town vs donny

Posted by wonky on Today, 02:01 PM

I'd rather run a cheese grater down my nuts than watch Union. As dkw says, kicking penalties when your behind is foreign to me, I just can't understand it. Then they can have a 4 or 5 man over lap outside, but instead give it to a fat lad to trundle it back to where the ruck was originally. Everyone is entitled to there own opinion though, and mine is that's it's utter ######

on the other side of the coin its 2 points we could do without them getting as they are in our mid table group range .

off the first 2 weeks efforts london will be more likely in that group with us.

Yeah I think it is an absolute must win game, next week it's donny and we've got a very poor record vs them over recent years. Let's get the 1st points on the board and get some momentum going.

Elliot coming back is as big as latu. His finishing and speed can win them tight games.

I hear there are free buses laid on by Dewsbury for this game, and Town will be doing the same for the away fixture. Great idea if true, anyone know if this is happening and why its the Dewsbury games?

some of the fans from either club are arranging it so that its a bit of an event for both sets of away fans. That's why there's entertainment on after the game to get the most out of there trip up. Very good idea between the clubs.

That was huge for us that as well. Hope we get another chance to see him

the positive is carl and callum have played together before. Trying to forge a partnership at such a difficult away game maybe wasn't best. An easy home game like haven would be best.

Wait and see but I think I may be right

to be fair I wouldn't be surprised to see mossop moved to the wing over Carter, at least until Elliot is back

Nothing worse than hamstring aids.

Same old ###### from the daft jameaters, best of 2 bad teams been mentioned by them yet? They are in real trouble, way of the pace and not much to bring in. We are in a lovely position of a positive first game with plenty of quality to bring in. Happy days.

if you look who they had missing, Calvert, jjp and maybe 1 or 2 others. We had olstrum, ell, fifita, walker, Horton, aikhurst, coward, the wigan lads and another quality half. Hmmm I know who should be the more optimistic, and who are in HUGE trouble.

Great signing. Also believe I said it was permanent but got shot down by a few on here. Welcome to town tom.

Was offered to Town first, PV said no because he is unable to train midweek due to his coaching commitments at Wigan. Unlike other clubs PV insists on players attending every session.

yep heard that as well derwent. Right decision from pv. The prop were supposably getting from wigan is better than jordan anyhow.

#3046489 Happy 70th Birthday Town....and big news announced....

Kain would have been ideal for us. In my opinion he is the kind of player we are lacking and would be one of the final pieces of the jigsaw.

our halfbacks already sorted will be here in the new year.

#3037014 New signing

I've heard he's the one whos visa was accepted. Great signing, we definitely needed a big man to dominate up the middle

Probably confirmation that were with wigan again next year for definate. Can't see it being a signing and it's definitely not sam obst or josh vievers. Surely we don't need anymore outside backs signed on, we already have Forrester, murphy,Carter,Miller, aikhurst,Mossop, whitely, ritson and rossi.

People do realise it's only the middle of November. Why on earth are people panicking? We actually have a squad capable of competing already, now we just need to add the quality.
