Like the sap that I am, I purchased a soundbar when they first came out to supplement the naff TV audio. I have always been a bit underwhelmed by the lack of bass, but have never got around to purchasing a sub. Having got some gumption, I started to look at purchasing a sub, but on my travels I noticed a new piece if kit; soundbases. They appear to overcome the lack of bass suffered by soundbars due to the depth of the cabinet, my primary concern, is their lack of surround sound effect.
Do any TRL'ers have one/formulated an opinion on them?
