I think one problem we may have is the intention to eventually go full time. The basic problem is one of timing. Let's say we aim to go full time in one year. Some players who wish to only play part time, they have a job/business etc, may not want a one year contract. So what does the club do?

Think he's been signed by hull kr.

Well, and you didn't hear this from me, but the woman at number 23 has been seen sniffing around the married bloke from number 32. Allegedly!

I noticed that Fordy said that some possible players decided to go elsewhere after the announcement on Friday . I wonder if Ollie Russell was one of them? Went to Wakefield at the weekend.

Oldham Super League bid

There is one tier 1 competition that we're still in and that's the challenge cup. I wasn't overly enthralled about all the 1895 Wembley talk because to me Wembley is the challenge cup. Remember 89-90, we were a 1st division club in all but name. Fordy makes reference to it in a video. I feel he's trying to recreate that environment for this session . A good cup run will do us in good stead. -
Couldn't wait for Monday's chron to read Roger's report on the Sunday game. Then Thursday's chron to review the goings on at the club. If there was any confusion or controversy during a game we would say "let's see what Roger has to say about that". During the 89-90 season I went to every match, home and away, and collected every programme. I also collected every one of Rogers reports from the chron. Still got them.

Championship structure
The Art of Hand and Foot replied to Mr Plow's topic in The General Rugby League Forum
With the exception that league one clubs couldn't get higher than *15th last year, now they have the possibility of ending the season higher. Especially if the so called 'pendulum ' system is used The bottom half play each other home and away and the top half play ea h other home and away then the top half plays the bottom half once. *Edit. I actually meant 26th, not 26th. -

A question I've asked on the main board is how will the new championship structure affect img gradings? Next year we will be in the championship but so will goole!! -

How will the new championship affect IMGs gradings? The yeds , for example, over the last 3 years have played 1 season in the championship and 2 in league one. With resulting effect on our IMG rating. Next season we will be in the championship, but so will Goole!! So how will the ratings work for next season? -

York and Toulouse. I suppose that's how it should be. Top 3 promoted. Ah well, onwards and upwards. -

It's about ownership of land and increasing IMGs ratings. The question i originally asked would it increase our ratings? -

Not necessarily. It's about who administers the land. Providing it is used in perpetuity for the purpose that Joseph platt intended then i suppose they could sell it. ORLFC couldnt sell it on to a developer or use it as collateral for a loan etc.
