It's a chicken and egg scenario I'm afraid. If we take the online presence as an example. It needs to be updated and manned on a full time basis in order to keep fans updated and to sell the products that will make money. But it needs money in the first place. The club hasn't got any. So we end up in a cycle of decline. Same with the ground. We need a decent ground to attract paying customers, but weneed paying customers to pay for the improvements.
Hollinwooder, what restrictions? Just how unreasonable are they? You can't throw generalisations about, please be specific. I'm pretty certain there will be restrictions at the cricket club. What is it the Lions don't like?
Interesting posts. Don't forget the promotion format this year involves only the top five. No automatic promotion. Top two play off for 1st promotion spot. Loser plus 3 , 4 and 5 then play off for 2 nd promotion spot. So we could end up with 3 trophies, top of league, first promo spot and grand final winners!!!!
I seem to remember the width of the pitch at watersheddings being moved in and out depending on who we were playing. So when we played Wigan or saints it was moved right in to restrict the movement of the wings. Never seemed to work.
