Wondering just what the definition of imminent actually is? Today, tomorrow, next week? Apparently the eruption of Yellowstone park is imminent, 1000 years overdue. As is the earthquake at the san Andreas fault. The death of betalguise into a supernova that's imminent. Just wondered where the imminent announcement fits into the scheme of things?
I agree Leigh are doing good things, but I cringe at arguments that start going on about percentage of population going to games - if you want to massively spin it that way, only about 0.035% of people in Greater Manchester want to watch Manchester United. What a failure. .
yeah but that's made up by the 10% of London that follow them.
Re yesterday's game at Spotland. Our lads gave a pretty decent performance against a weak Oxford side. Oxford never gave up trying at any point which is in their favour, scoring two good tries near the end. Having said that they were out classed for most of the game. I can't see them beating any of the top sides either home or away. They brought more fans than I thought they would leading to a bigger gate than I expected. Saturday games have been quite successful gate wise so far. Any Oldham fans fancy a change back to Saturday rugby.
I do as I now work most Sundays.but guess there'll be others who can't do Saturdays.
