  1. When he had Andy Burnham, Hilary Benn and Angela Eagle they were actually decent shadow cabinet members. Now it's just a complete joke (with the odd exception like Keir Starmer). Diane Abbott would probably release large numbers of dangerous criminals onto the streets
  2. This is true in local council elections but not at a parliamentary election. Ultimately a Labour victory means Corbyn as PM, McDonnell as Chancellor and Diane Abbott as Home Secretary. All possibilities beyond the pale as far as I'm concerned
  3. I voted Labour last General election but nevertheless I can safely say I trust Theresa May, Tim Farron, Caroline Lucas, Nicola Sturgeon and Leanne Wood more than wolf in sheep's clothing Corbyn. Even Paul Nuttall is marginally less bad
  4. It's certainly true if you want to progress in a job at a university. Not so true in a private company
  5. The thing I've noticed working at a university is that if you want to progress you either need an upper-middle class British accent or a foreign accent. Working class British accents are very much frowned upon, but barely being able to speak English is seen as okay. Clearly this isn't either representative of every area of work or the fault of immigrants but it's not surprising that there is more opposition to immigration from working class people than there is from middle class people
  6. If they can create another similar league in the midlands/east/London then that would be really good for development
  7. West Wales Raiders are. Possibly Cardiff as well, but that's much further off.
  8. Sharlston Rovers beat Dewsbury despite being five divisions lower maybe 10-15 years ago
  9. 2001 was the first season of the league but there was a cup from 1997 to 2000 as a national championship. The winners of the two leagues play off for the All-Ireland Championship
  10. 2017 Northern Ireland League Ballynahinch Rabbitohs Belfast Eagles Belfast Met Scholars Portadown Pumas Republic of Ireland League Athboy Longhorns Athy Sharks Cork Bulls Dublin City Exiles Galway Tribesmen Treaty City Titans Waterford Vikings West Dublin Bears
  11. Yeah I think you're right in Remain areas. The Conservatives will gain more than they lose from UKIP and Labour Leave voters but it could cost about 10-15 seats to the Lib Dems
  12. I think the UKIP vote will collapse and tip the Conservatives over the 50% point. The Lib Dems will have a surge at the expense of Labour but maybe finish 5% behind them in the popular vote and a long way behind in terms of seats
  13. South Shields played in the Northern Rugby League division 2 and Wallsend played in the Cumberland League. Werneth had played in the Lancashire second competition but by this point were playing in the reserve league.
  14. There is a Cornish Rebels club. I think they're playing friendlies this year after their league has folded
  15. The best scenario would be getting 4-5 clubs each from South Wales and the West Country into one division playing a full season. Then you'd have local leagues in each region playing a shorter season. Wales could already provide 4 clubs ready to play a full season.
