Batley sold out their allocation of adult tickets for tonight, so plenty going. For me, it is a chance to see my team play against the current Champions, and hopefully it will be another step in our development as a club.

32-0 to Leeds in the end. How was the game? Not a total mullering as all the doom mongers predicted

This. Batley remained competitive throughout but did not have what it took to finally get over for a try! Hopefully an experience the players will use to their advantage in the future, least of which was playing in front of a 15,000 + attendance!

Glad also that Batley kept the score fairly low. I think it will mean Leeds still need to beat Fartown next werk to be guaranteed to get into the top 3
