  1. Catalans given a three year exemption from relegation which managed to relegate Widnes. Celtic Crusaders "winning" a Superleague licence.
  2. It was me that mentioned Huddersfield and Salford but it was along the lines of asking does anyone think those below them can eek out enough additional points to bring them into the mix. Think one of them was 13.8 and the other 13.4. Not looked at the data for a few months so no idea how they scored their points.
  3. Just as an aside, the general consensus seems to be to perm any three from Leigh, Castleford, Wakefield, Bradford and Toulouse with London already relegated. Leigh, Castleford and Wakefield seem to believe they will score better next time. Could Salford and Huddersfield get dragged into this as well?
  4. On the contrary, many of us have worked it out. There's a 150 page thread on here somewhere pointing it out continuously. Personally I'm really looking forward to the end of the season when I'm expecting this to kick of big style. It will be interesting to see how Toulouse go this season, promoting them from the middle of the championship could be fun. Because like you say, if they miss out this time they are pretty much screwed.
  5. Tbh when we levelled it at 13 each I'd have took that. With that wind I couldn't see us getting into position again to win it.
  6. A bit weird reading this, reading other clubs forums the general impression seems to be they lost to a decidedly average team. Agree with Jon M though losing Langtree yesterday is a blow.
  7. Wouldn't have given Widnes a prayer at 13-6 down and playing into the wind with seven minutes left today. Very very happy to come away with the win.
  8. Very good game at Featherstone today. Plenty of positives in defeat for Widnes. Slipped a little closer to the relegation zone though.
  9. Haven't bothered looking at the gradings in recent months but if Leigh, Cas and Wakefield all improve is it possible that Salford and Huddersfield could get dragged in to the spreadsheet bunfight?
  10. Its ironic isn't it. Any concerns you could sweep the board in the championship and then get knocked back by the spreadsheet? I can't remember where you where in the draft run. Leigh and Cas appear pretty bullish that they'll survive which would leave yourselves, Bradford and Toulouse fighting over London's place. With the dice so loaded against championship clubs miss out this time and it could be game over.
  11. Well, he was born in Widnes and he did play a couple of games for Widnes and Doug Laughton who seems to figure prominently in this thread was also from Widnes. So as thread drift goes this seems to have stayed pretty much on ltrack.
