There was an article in the Hull Daily Mail a while back about the terms and conditions that the crews now work under on the Hull to Rotterdam crossing. They're little more than modern day slavery.

The backlash left them with no other option.

Along with Hull and City, Rovers were given the opportunity to play at the KC/MKM when it was first built. They politely and sensibly declined. It would have been a suicidal move for them. Hull were just popping across Anlaby Road so remained in the heart of their community, Rovers would have been abandoning theirs.
