GeordieSaint
Looks like the Med Cup is going to start up again... Lebanon vs Italy in Sicily later this year with it potentially expanding to 4 nations (Spain and Malta) in 2017. It's on the International Rugby League page on facebook (sorry can't post the link). Yakstorm
Great to see the tournament back in some form and great to see both teams wanting to use domestic players. A quad series involving Lebanon, Malta, Spain and Italy would be great for development of those countries. Ideally you'd like to see this tournament used as a vechile to help get Greece and Morocco back into the international arena. Number 16
For me, Morocco is a no brainer. Given the level of opposition to RL by some amongst that country's establishment, I'd be okay with a bunch of French heritage players representing them for the time being. I do believe that if they were to enjoy some international success and recognition then the walls may starts coming down.

Not sure if it's going to be a 4 team competition or just different countries out of those 4 competing each year. Hopefully it'll be a bigger tournament Check out upcoming international fixtures and highlights of past matches at http://rlfixtures.weebly.com St Albans Centurions International Liaison Officer and former Medway Dragons Wheelchair RL player.Leeds Rhinos, St Albans Centurions y Griffons Madrid fan. TheLegendOfTexEvans
With the start of Rugby League in Turkey it would be good to see them included in a future tournament.
JM2010
I think tournaments like this are a good development tool as well as Scandinavian tournaments. I think running regionalised Euro tournaments below the Euro A B and C should be the way to go
The Future is League
Morocco aside i think only players from their own leagues should be allowed to play, which can only help develop the game. Even in Morocco's case i think they should only be allowed to use Moroccan born players. I would hate to see heritage players in this sort of tournament.
