Really sad news .. Nobody wants to see any club with money problems it's only a few years ago that we weren't that far from going under . Players taking wage cuts, bills to pay. Its only with the foresight of Gary Murdock Graeme Peers and the rest of the board that the club has pulled it round . With all the good things that are happening around the club . So a massive thank you .that we still have a club to support .

17 matches 8 wins 9 losses. Four of them wins we're against Newcastle twice and Cornwall twice . Teams that WathBrow could beat . Take them teams out of the league table which would leave a 13 matches played upto date . So that would leave 4 wins 9 losses . Its not good reading, when we are only in L1 a league above NCL .. Just stating facts .

Pone Tongia must be wondering why he is here . Early season he was played out of position .the few minutes he was on the pitch Then He was played against Rochdale only a very short gametime in his favoured position and caused problems Next game Hunslet away and only gets a few minutes again, in the second half , and again today he doesn't get much game time . I don't think he's been given much playing time to show what he can do .

Couldn't have put it any better .

Well said Graeme . The club would be in a hell of a state if it wasn't for Gary ,Yourself , and the rest of the board ,plus all the volunteers So instead of spending time on your keyboards ,Why dont you give some of your time being involved with the club .

Think it's 11days after a failed HIA so he should just miss one .if that's the case . I could be wrong but that's what I think it is

All the rumours are coming from supporters putting two and two together and coming up with what they think what's happening . None of the clubs have said anything about Jonty's future. The rumour going round before the latest one , was that Jonty was taking a break from coaching at the end of this season . The only ones being disrespectful are the ones putting these rumours about .

I've nothing wrong with peoples opinions .Its just the way that it was coming across and Carl seemed to be getting the brunt ,of the way the team were performing . Its a team game so one should not be singled out .
-
Some of the comments about CARL are uncalled for. So called supporters should be ashamed to single out one individual . People going on about there is better local players Well i will ask you , these so called better players , who are they playing against ! .Other amateurs ,and the teams been mentioned are in L2 of the NCL . And why are they playing in that league if there so good . Carl is playing against seasoned professionals some even ex super league. In a division a lot higher than the locals in the NCL . The last two week ive been to watch WathBrow against two of the top teams Siddal and Hunslet in the NCL and not one of there players could step up into L1 and stand out . Carl would if he was playing in them teams . There is a HUGE difference from the amateur leagues , to playing as a semi or proffessional in RL L1 . So to say there are better players playing local , you need to think again . And on another note Carl Forber has tackled way above his weight all is career . for people to criticise a player who as been a model professional all his career is way out of order .

Is that ever possible .I cant ever remember a game he's been in charge , where I have thought he was fair .He favours the away team every time . You can just see it ,its a close game ,the away team losing , and he gets them down in our 20m line with penalties , Hoping they will go over for a try . I dont know what it is with him . By all accounts the officials are treated very well who come to Workington , Or is it they don't like the distance they have to travel . there must be something why we get some really bad decisions . Im not saying we dont give daft penaties away at times , which need addressed . but some of the Referees decisions are bewildering . Anyway hope we finally get a bit of luck on Sunday and get some good backing from the supporters UTT.

Really good game. If we hadnt got the injuries , two really bad, dislocated shoulder, and knee , and one that failed a head injury, we could have easily been in the next round of the cup . Double header next week .Town v Cornwall at 1pm followed afterwards by the town ladies . UTT

Brilliant news from the Town . Well done Gary Graeme and Muzza UTT

Glad Newcastle are back in the league ,which means .Town wont have as many vacant weekends .and with the two 1845 cup matches at home (and hopefully more ) ,plus the loop fixtures ,its going to be a far more interesting season than the last . All we want now is bigger crowds to get behind the lads and we have a a successful season UTT

I can second that Pal if you really knew what he has to sort out , and work on , you would be really surprised how much he really does . Wouldn't like to think where the club would be without him being at the helm . He's doing a fantastic job keep it up Gary, and the club will have a great future . U T

Proposal's were talked about at the RL meeting last Wednesday . But the outcome was, it stays the same. The RL listened to the concerns of the number of matches L1 have and how can they survive . Ideas were talked about . A new cup competition for L1 and Championship clubs plus Super league reserve teams ( looking after Super league clubs again ! ).But I wouldn't count on any of the idea's the clubs have came up with .There not interested in L1 . At the Towns Presentation night it was said that championship and L1 clubs were shown a Proposal from the Town board about joining both leagues together .The four teams at the bottom of championship with only a couple of matches to go, anyone of them could have been relegated. All agreed to the proposal but TWO of them , as soon has they were SAFE, didn't agree to it .( it's easy to work out who they were) As long as Super league and Championship clubs get what they want . They couldn't give a toss what happens to anyone else . .

Great value 50% off a smart looking top . This is our last home game this year .So get down and see if the lads can follow up the best performance of the season last Sunday . UTT

I think we will get a win, then go to the losers of the Doncasterv Oldham match . I think we will be going to Oldham .How does everybody se it going
-
Outstanding performance . Best match this season .
-
Any commentary on Town match . Cumbria Radio doing Whitehaven and Barrow matches
-
Doesn't help the cause When your taken further back at play the ball than the opposition.
-
How can you say we would go up next season . if the opportunity is there go for it . Like Derwent Parker says we need out of this league . I would hope there would be just two leagues . even if it was divided into two sections . Then the top 4 of each league play each other at the end of the fixtures to see who finishes top .
-
Why do they commentate on home matches it should be the away matches that get the commentary. Surely the home teams want as many fans into there ground as possible. rather than them sitting at home listening to the match
-
Brilliant news .Well done Gary and Graeme.

My biggest concern, if the stadium isn't moved further from the road , is the safety of cars going passed .People walking passed .say a young Mam is pushing a pram on the pavement and the ball goes over the roof when a player is kicking it into touch .the ball .hits someone and knocks them into the road, or even landing in the pram .God forbid this doesn't happen . But it could . So I think the developers have got to take this into consideration. People might say Town and the Reds shared BP years ago with no problem . But there wasn't the amount of traffic that goes passed that ground , as there does now. So the risk of this happening is far greater .Would you like to take that responsibility of developing the stadium if something tragic happened I Wouldn't . If its built on the BP footprint
