My biggest concern, if the stadium isn't moved further from the road , is the safety of cars going passed .People walking passed .say a young Mam is pushing a pram on the pavement and the ball goes over the roof when a player is kicking it into touch .the ball .hits someone and knocks them into the road, or even landing in the pram .God forbid this doesn't happen . But it could . So I think the developers have got to take this into consideration. People might say Town and the Reds shared BP years ago with no problem . But there wasn't the amount of traffic that goes passed that ground , as there does now. So the risk of this happening is far greater .Would you like to take that responsibility of developing the stadium if something tragic happened I Wouldn't . If its built on the BP footprint

I just think it was nice coming out of the ground satisfied that we had seen expansive rugby , good try's and that you couldn't name a player who had a bad game .We've got some big lads in the pack .which we were crying out for all last season . And I agree with some of the earlier comments . I thought Cain Barnes work rate was outstanding .Tom Curwens speed at running at the opposition was a joy to watch . If teams have to defend against forwards running at them like that .it will tire there defence so our backs will come into there own , and I'm sure we will see some more exciting try's . . Very confusing the pricing to watch Town this coming season . Kids £25 a season ticket or £2 match day Concessions £15 match day or £12 early bird . Adults £18 match day £15 early bird . Now I see Adults can get a season ticket deal for £99.95 5p short of £10 per match . So that makes it cheaper than the concession cheapest price of £12 . So is there a price for a concession season ticket. Adults are either getting a £8 match day or £5 early bird reduction buying a season ticket .

Totally, give the lad a chance.Cant understand why you would judge someone's knowledge of the game who is most likely more knowledgeable than you in signing players . Good luck Liam .At least your willing to give it a go . UTT

I agree with getting big forwards But I would also like to see Blaine Marwood back . He is always supporting players and looking for the offload .

Lighthowler showed great promise before he got a season ending injury . If fully recovers he would be one of the first to retain . Sad to see Chris go, as I know how hard he tried to make this work . Good luck Chris in your next venture .

Cant blame Alex if the defence is'nt coming across to help him out . often its two attackers against one defender. but he gets the blame every time . When you look at the team performance throughout the season . you cant just blame him .

We seen a very good team today and what I can't understand Is the foul language towards Josh Charnley and other Leigh Players from a few Town supporters on the popular side . There is little kids in the crowd . Who shouldn't be hearing this type of language. This isn't the first time this as happened this season . Don't know what the stewards are doing but they are certainly not stopping it . And this isn't just me saying this there is quite a few Town supporters embarrassed by there actions . It needs addressed .

If anybody wants to know the reasons behind some decisions. Chris as already said his door is always open if people want to talk rugby matters . So stop trying to stir things up on the forum . And go and ask Chris .

All this about signing players on before we knew what league we we in . Is stupid talk . Do you not think if it was that easy the club wouldn't have done it . Players are not going to sign if they don't know what league we would be in . Also at that time some of the previous board packed up and left Chris high and dry saying he had no money to spend and couldn't sign anybody . Noing the predicament Town had with money issues . Chris saves the club money by sleeping in the office for months rather than him sleeping in the Hall Park hotel . Right from the start when we got promoted He said it was a year ahead of schedule. . Then He trys to work with a squad in the championship . With players who had only just come from the amateur game . L1 was a step up but the championship . We all knew it was going to be hard . Then the Blue knights were formed and raised money for team building fantastic news and good of them . But how hard do you think it would be to get players to travel halfway through a season to the bottom team without them asking for the earth . Let's put it this way . Match day prices .Town are one of the cheapest grounds to get into . How many supporters would twine or not even attend if they had to pay the entrance fee of say your Leigh Featherstone Bradford Widnes etc So stop knocking the Coach and the board .We all knew at the start it wasn't going to be easy . So come on UTT .

Before you slag people off who run the club . Get the facts right before you blame people .. This was not the Towns fault that they didn't get there passports stamped .

Great ideas, but the one big question is where is the money coming from to run these teams .Reserve. A . B what ever you want to call them .It's ok saying they did years ago ,But times have changed .and clubs are struggling to run one team . Look at the attendances of most clubs they a dropped . Unless you have a sugar daddy pumping in money it's very difficult to run one team never mind two ..

After seeing the video of the Town pitch .and being on the artificial pitch at Stainburn Academy School at the same time . It's a no Brainer what the New Stadiums pitch as to be . especially as there will be football and rugby played on it . The quality of that artificial pitch must be really top quality as it's one of the best I've seen .

The best atmosphere at a rugby ground is Leeds and the reason is a trumpet and drums . There is nothing wrong with it If they can play them

Good luck to Brett, if he gets back to the player he was , all the other teams are having to face him , having said that we never won anything with him in our team or any of the others who have gone down the road . I think the team we are putting together its much stronger than in the past few seasons so teams will be looking at us not Whitehaven . UTT
