  1. If we're to be a Championship club full stop as seems likely. Surely the club has to show it's fans and the rest of the RL fraternity, that they will strive to be the best club in the Chanpionship. I don't mean by spending like previous on players, but improving the infrastructure of the club. Like has been mentioned, by trying to embrace the IMG proposals. There's certain areas of the ground that needs improving ( I'm not including the old chestnut of the floodlights) as that appears to be a moot point. If the ground is just left, it will be too late to improve.
  2. I must admit to being one of those fans that had a knee-jerk reaction to Sundays game. Mainly through struggling to see any future for the club after the past 2 seasons. I've got a season ticket for this season but my enthusiasm for the game in general has diminished. Those last 2 seasons I believe has done too much damage. The first loss can be explained by poor team selection from a coach who knew he was finished at Fev. Then last season if rumours are true about players being informed week of the semi-final they wouldn't be playing for Fev this season. Well what can you say about that. As far as less money for contracts this year is concerned, it had to happen, but during the close season the club appear to have been in hibernation, instead of communicating to the fans and at least try to lift the club out of the gloom it's in. There's plenty of questions that need to be asked regards the future of the club but not on social media.
  3. I'll just listen to whichever games are broadcast on radio.
  4. RIP Keith and condolences to his family and friends.
  5. Being hit on my arris doesn't worry me at all. You should be more concerned about how many more people have the same viewpoint as myself, and where that would leave the clubs the clubs.
  6. I think we should should alter the length of a game. Perhaps play 60 minutes but in 4 quarters, oh sorry there's already a game using that format. I'm too long in the tooth to accept these changes. I'd like to ask those ex-players who are claiming against the sport. When you started to play this game, did you love playing the game ? and what damage did you cause to opposition players ? those ex-players played at a professional level and were paid for doing so. They knew exactly what could happen once they'd crossed that white line. I like many others played amateur and loved playing the game, and all that entailed regarding injuries, and don't tell me a professional rugby players career is short, and it's hard for them to adjust to ordinary life. Try working full-time and working overtime, then going training or playing. Sorry for the rant, but for me the game of Rugby League come 2025 will be dead. As thus, so will my interest in the game.
  7. No he didn't play rugby, but I'm quite sure he'd have put you on your arris.
  8. Your judgement is based on the fact Featherstone haven't named a full squad. Do me a favour and lend me your crystal ball, I might be able to win lottery.
  9. No need for an apology. Sometimes my attempts at being subtle don't work. However if I'd have gone in full blast. I'm sure you know what I mean.
  10. It was meant as a tongue in cheek comment for Griff.
  11. Keep up Griff. Boxing day fixtures are now part of ticking boxes for IMG grading. Such as increasing revenue and supporter connection.
  12. Snobbery is alive and well in Rugby Rugby. I mean businesses are throwing money at rugby clubs. Perhaps if we spent more time on congratulating teams for getting a nationwide business to sponsor them. Instead of looking down our noses at businesses we think aren't acceptable.
  13. A bit late but Fev have signed Conner Wynne. Apologies for a double post.
  14. I understand where you're coming from, but from a Featherstone and a Bradford standpoint, it's setting the games up against one another next season for a bit of volatility. Not with both sets of supporters either, just on the pitch.
  15. There's one thing about all the Bradford signings. There's no need for them to be ultra fit, especially playing on that postage stamp of a pitch.
  16. I'm not privy to that. But I do know they sponsor Leeds Rhinos and Northampton CC, and are also an international company. Fev usually get told we don't attract International businesses to the club. I make that 3 businesses sponsoring Fev. Bartercard is the front logo on the new shirt.
  17. I think this has become a none story now, seeing as Fev have got a new sponsor on board.
  18. Spoil sport. What you said that for lol. To say were not liked, 5 pages suggest different
  19. It's time to put Castleford out of it's misery and it's promises. Enough is enough. Goodbye.
  20. 8, and the teams would be Catalan, Cumbria, Leeds, London, Newcastle, Sheffield, Toulouse and Wigan.
  21. You tinker DP lol. We'll not be having any of that talk thank you very much.
  22. We can all speculate about the grading London will get, but there's one thing no-one can deny, is that they won the right to go into SL under the qualification as it is.
