You don't need to learn Italian, just go there and shout, do you speak English?! Really loud and slowly into their faces, that's what people do isn't it? (I will point out I do not do that, I am an experienced traveller and have taught myself German to a decent level.)

I can do the hand gestures they specialise in really well ... if I do that and shout in English when I go I may get a few hand gestures back

Really enjoyed the SI v Japan. Plenty of errors but both teams gave it their all. This ENWC is a joy. 2021 could be even better.
