Now is the time to bring back franchising

If Licensing is brought back it will have to be thrown open for any club who wishes to apply, SL are in no position to just lift the drawbridge and say it is for the incumbant clubs only.

So, considering we have a very few clubs who could be described as self sustainable maybe 5 at the absolute outside 6, how do you propose the other teams are selected, that is enough teams to make up a league structure, for arguments sake we will keep it as it is at 12.

Its a complete misunderstanding on the process and just entirely unnecessary.

Franchising would only ever be a journey rather than a destination. What is good enough today may not be in 5 or 10 years time.

Its a process of continuous improvement. The obvious answer is that if you want 12 you pick the 12 who best help you fulfil your objectives for the next 5-10 years in full knowledge that in 5 or 10 years that may change.

It is frankly, ridiculous to think that we just set a level and stick to that level even if its massively negative for us. It would make absolutely no sense.

Underperforming to the point they are a liability to their business. Get em sacked. Would'nt be tolerated in a warehouse.

These players sacrifice so much for our entertainment i think they are deserving of more respect than that.

You don't, and that puts a lot of your and Harry's points of view in to a certain context.
