Other teams possible problems

Teams who were seeming to be near to us have there own problems. Batley at  home could only draw with Whitehaven and York lost at home to Barrow.

Sport eh?

Unexpected results - who would haver thought it.

Sport, amongst other things, is a dream-world offering escape from harsh reality and the disturbing prospect of change.

Therein lies the problem.  We shouldn't be looking over our shoulder at the opposition for 2nd spot.

It may be the reality of where we are but if thats the case we'll never achieve our goal this season.

Ourselves and Leigh should be streets ahead of the rest given the money we must have spent.

We are well behind Leigh in monetary terms credit to Beaumont he keeps putting his hand in his pocket and they have to pay rent for the stadium. And if he is short of funds his mate Marwan Koukash may lend him a few quid. The Leigh players had a day out at Chester races .Pictures taken with Marwan's jockeys. If we don't improve our last game at Fax which is usually a formality could be vital.

Not disputing any of that.  What I meant was that the biggest gap is / should be between us and the rest....

Fax look to have a good blend of players and team spirit and they could be the fly in the ointment.Think we will beat York at home.

Team spirit is something we seemed to have lost.

We have had quite a few changes in the team. I think they have done well with the problems and are progressing towards a settled team when injuries are out of the way. It is not team spirit but getting a coordination of the players  with each other. Changes due to injury have meant player introductions and that means new players have to get used to the routine that the coach wants. We will get there. UTR

Fax will be the tester. They ran Barrow ragged from what I saw on TV and stuffed us at home too. It'll be close at POR but think Rovers will win but we'll put up a good performance. UTK
