glossop saint
A bit of an ambigous title but I was looking into bank accounts for my son yesterday and saw that the Leeds Building Society junior bank account is called the Ronnie the Rhino account. Well done to Leeds for that link up and shows what variation there can be with sponsorship options. Any other interesting/unexpected rugby/commercial relationships, or any humorous suggestions for one's in the future?

I got a signed 2012 Rhinos Cup Final shirt from Kev Sinfield as part of a Ronnie the Rhino/Leeds Rhinos Account at LBS back in the day. Think it was minimum £100 deposit or something like that. They've been great very long term partners.

Northern Eel
I think Bradford Bulls might have had links with Northern Rock, Bradford and Bingley and Barings.
Wiltshire Warrior Dragon
Mutuelle du Rempart appear to offer a range of services, many to do with private health and welfare, but also to do with corporate pension planning, if you run a company, and private wealth management, for the individual. They stress the importance of sport - "we share the value of sport" - and this manifests itself in their support for, inter alia, TOXIII, St Gaudens XIII Ours and Albi RL, as well as the FFRXIII. Catalans Dragons' impressively long list of sponsors includes AXA and Banque Populaire du Sud. I don't know how any of that support manifests itself in terms of goodies and freebies. Maybe the likes of Barnya and Audois have come across it at first hand and can advise. In this country, I think AXA are partners of Liverpool FC; maybe an RL club could ask them to emulate what they do down in Perpignan in this country and partner/sponsor an RL club.

There is only 4 other Salfordian threads active here at the moment. Interesting stuff about sponsorship in France.
