Looks like no one was there to see the Ashley’s greatest ever clown decision.

Tackled player releases the ball on the ground because he thinks he was tackled on the last. Seconds pass as the player walks away until Ash calls him back. It was a reset tackle count because the ball was touched in flight. 

So Ashley called the player back and said “go get the ball back mate, you have six again. The tackle count was restarted”. 

A farce that cost the Sharks a try and brought Manly right into the game.
