I've seen a few people say that Leeds should let players have families wit their Christmas and bin the Boxing Day fixture off, the thing is especially with Leeds it will be the best attended Pre Season Friendly and creates quite a bit of revenue, it's not going to be binned.

They are professional Althetes and as harsh as it sounds they will have to make sacrifices on stuff like this. I'm sure there will be lots of people working in hospital;ity and retail that won't have much sympathy for the players.

Exactly....the same argument could be made that players shouldn't have to play weekends or evenings. Maybe Tuesday 2pm kick offs anyone ? 

They are privileged to play ....the Wetherby Whaler will generate a near five figure crowd in which to play the sport they have a passion for (and are paid for) 

If we are worried they can't get tanked up on Xmas day the maybe we can make the point the shouldn't anyway as athletes
