I dont rate him really at half back, looks very akward to me. Same as Stanley Gene when he plays 6 always looks to me like they put him there because theres no one else

Kyle Eastmond at Saints seems not to be too shabby at half back from the bit I have seen of him? Then again they do say it's the exception proves the rule

Difficult to discuss really without been accused of racism..... I do believe that their must be some genetic differences between all the races, but what they are is difficult to pin point. On the other hand maybe their is a lack of black half backs because there are / were no black half backs acting as role models for aspiring professionals?
This trait appears in rugby & football management.... Bar Tigana how many other black managers have their been in the English to flight?
How many world class male tennis players are black? How many world class boxers are black?
I also think that the barriers some people face may influence the sports they play as well as their position just as much as their race.

They did used to say that black men couldnt open the batting, but that theory was put to bed when Gordon Greenidge and Desmond Haynes destroyed England on a regular basis in the 70s and 80s. As for racism if a subject like this cant be discussed then gord help us

I don't give that it any credence at all. What about all the half backs that play for PNG, Samoa, Fiji, etc. It just about as bad as the film about basketball 'White men can't jump.' If you see the black athletes running you can see they have the flexibility and speed to be great half backs. It is all a matter of training. The statement about Jamacians sounds a bit rum to me.

Carl Gibson was never a 6 in a million years, all the people mentioned in my opinion are just filler iners at half back. Im not racist or homophobic i couldnt care less who anyone sleeps with or what colour there skin is, and both threads were tounge in cheek to grinde Robin away from his interview revision, although i do reckon my m8 has a point

Are you serious?. A man/womens skin colour has nothing to do with their abilities to do anything....

Wrong, Carl was a great stand off at Batley, and definitely not filling in because we had no one better. I would suggest Jamaica may not make it as they do not have enough players who are good enough in many positions.
